JOINING THE CONSERVATIVE CLUB

Applying for membership of the Conservative Club could not be easier.

Just follow these simple steps

1 Fill in the nomination book that you will find on the lectern at the entrance to the club. Remember you must be proposed and seconded by bona fide members of more than 6 Months standing. (Should you be new to the area or not know such members please contact the Secretary directly on 01763 246427 and he will tell you how to proceed.

2 The committee is advised of your application at the following Committee meeting. This normally takes place on the third Tuesday of the month. Immediately following the meeting we write to you, and your sponsors inviting you to attend an informal interview together with your proposer and or seconder. This will normally take place on the second Monday of the following month between 8.00pm and 10.00pm. Should you be unable to attend please let the Secretary know on the above number.

3 The membership committee reports on the interviews at the next full committee meetings and the successful applicants are sent a letter inviting them to join together with details of the subscriptions
