The Bar, Lounge Area and Restaurant

The Club has been recently refurbished so why not come along and see for yourselves. Both the Derek Walker room and restaurant are available for private hire to our members. Please see the room hire page for a form which can be printed off giving full details. All the catering you require can be arranged directly with our chef Peter Neville. 

Situated adjacent to the bar, the restaurant provides a more intimate atmosphere for those smaller dinner parties for up to 36 people. Having also been refurbished the room is now light and airy and fully air conditioned. Why not celebrate your birthday in style by booking the room for yourself. In addition, the room also is ideal for those smaller conferences and seminars.  

The Derek Walker Room 
Close the curtains, dim the lights, open the bar and you have the perfect setting for all your private functions.  The fully air-conditioned room will comfortably seat 60 if a full meal service is required, and accommodate up to 100 if buffets, drinking and dancing are the order of the day.  The Derek Walker Room has held many fine functions both private and organised by the Club.

Open the curtains and with its light airy atmosphere, fresh decor and windows at both sides the room provides the ideal venue for your company conferences, seminars and business lunches which have become so much a part of today's working life.  The large screen TV is available and can be attached to your computer for presentations.

The Snooker Room 
Situated upstairs, the snooker room provides a chance to compete with your friends, hone your skills or simply demonstrate a misspent youth on the green baize for a modest 50p for approximately 20 minutes.  The room has recently been completely refurbished.  Simply ask the bar staff for the keys to the snooker room and ensure you have plenty of 50p coins for the light meter.
