It's now over a year since we took over the franchise for the food here at the
Conservative Club and we have thoroughly enjoyed it, not least because everyone
has made us feel most welcome.
Our first Christmas with the club was very busy and from there we hardly drew
breath before Burns Night Supper was upon us.
Following on the success of the Mediterranean Night we have held several
more themed dining evenings. However, we would still welcome any suggestions
you may have. From the beginning of June we started a monthly Fish Night. Due to it's popularity, this is now
takes place
both on Friday and Saturday evenings. Just click on the link below to view
future dining events. Early booking is strongly recommended.
As to our menus, we have made some changes to both our Bar and A La Carte menus
which are proving to be very popular. Naturally, we have retained the old
favourites. We plan to revise our menus every couple of months or so in order to
provide more variety and a wider choice. The emphasis will be on locally
sourced, seasonally available food. Again, click on the link below to check
our latest offering. Our menus will of course continue to be supported
by our specials board.
We are always happy to discuss with you the current menus and anything that you
would like to see included on future menus. Additionally please come and talk to
us if you would like to make a booking for Birthdays, Weddings, Christenings,
Anniversaries, or any other function tailored to meet your individual requirements.
Please note that due to their popularity, Sunday lunches can only be guaranteed
by advance booking. If you haven't booked, Laura will do her best to fit you in
but please remember that these are usually very busy.
